Twenty-three Western Australian businesses have been named finalists in the WA Innovators of the Year 2026 awards, following more than 130 applications across six categories. The awards mark 20 years of the State recognising local innovation, with this year’s finalists spanning areas including medical research, advanced manufacturing, renewable energy, mining, construction and community wellbeing. The finalists have been selected across the Emerging Innovation, Growth Innovation, Advanced Manufacturing, Community Benefit and Wellbeing, Energy Innovation and Great for the State awards. “Our local innovation ecosystem continues to grow from strength to strength and the WA Innovators of the Year awards are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate achievements.
