Tarik Saleh’s Eagles of the Republic (2025) revolves around the dilemma that faces George Fahmy (Fares Fares), who’s known to his fans as the "Pharaoh of the Screen. All three movies star the charismatic Fares Fares, the Lebanese-origin Swedish actor who also has credits in Zero Dark Thirty, Rogue One and Chernobyl. In Eagles of the Republic, Fares is wholly convincing as an actor who comes to regret his prominence.
