A World Health Organization (WHO) humanitarian warehouse in Dnipro, Ukraine, has been destroyed following a series of strikes. The warehouse was first hit on 3 August, after which WHO assessed the facility as unsafe and began transferring supplies to another location. A WHO staff member and several drivers had left the warehouse shortly before the second strike, which directly destroyed the humanitarian supplies. Before the attacks, the warehouse contained an estimated US$500,000 (c. £370,000) worth of supplies. Dr Hans Henri P. Kluge, WHO regional director for Europe, said: “This warehouse held supplies that were intended to keep life-saving services available on the frontline.
