Vagabond, the experiential wine bar operator that offers more than 100 wines for customers to self-pour and explore by the glass, has chosen Brighton as the location for its first new high street venue outside of London for five years. Backed by the Majestic Wine Group and Fortress Investment Group, the Brighton bar is a significant step in Vagabond’s strategy to target even more towns and cities across the UK with its modern and highly differentiated hospitality concept. The brand’s Brighton location will feature its signature self-pour wine machines, offering guests a selection of more than 100 wines by the glass. Vagabond’s Brighton venue will feature a staircase carved out with riddling racks and a striking stainless steel bar – a nod to the tanks Vagabond uses to make its award-winning English wines. Vagabond plans to expand its portfolio of experiential bars from 14 sites today to 25 in the next five years.
