The Red Deer N.Jensen’s Bandits were silver medalists at the 2026 Women’s Canadian Fast Pitch Championship in Blackfalds. Red Deer fell 4-2 to the Carnduff Southeast Steelers in the final on Aug. 9. It was the third straight championship for the Steelers, who were based out of Saskatchewan. They also beat Calgary Kaizen (AB2) 11-3, Aurora Diggers (ON1) 4-1, Calgary Black Sox (AB1) 13-2. Red Deer lost 10-7 to the Steelers Saturday afternoon, before defeating them 4-1 in the semis.
