Kwaito pioneer Oskido will receive two of the South African Music Awards (SAMA32) highest honours, adding another major recognition to a career that has helped shape the South African music scene for more than three decades. The DJ, producer and music entrepreneur will receive the SAMA32 Lifetime Achievement Award at the ceremony on Saturday August 15, 2026, at the Sun City Superbowl. The 32nd edition of the South African Music Awards, sponsored by the Motsepe Foundation, will bring artists, industry figures and music fans to the North West. Oskido receives SAMA32 Lifetime Achievement AwardOskido previously received the RiSA Chairperson’s Award at SAMA30 for his contribution as a music executive, producer, entrepreneur and cultural pioneer. SAMA32 will now recognise his broader career with the Lifetime Achievement Award, adding his name to the list of South African music figures recognised for their lasting contribution to the industry.
