A new study reveals that people in the Black Country spend over £200 on NHS prescriptions in the 2025/26 period.
NHS Black Country closed out the top 10 list, with £200.21 per person is spent on prescriptions.
People from the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough spent the most with a cost of £379 per person, whereas North West London was the lowest with £115.74 per person.
Tarun Kumar, Co-Founder and Superintendent Pharmacist of Cured Pharmacy, commented on the findings:"What stands out is the enormous variation across England.
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough spends more than three times per person what North West London does, and that gap is largely driven by the cost of individual prescriptions rather than the volume.
