Bobby Jack Fox, 89, of Jonesborough, Tennessee, passed away on August 4, 2026, at Johnson City Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family and Sally, the very special lady who shared his life. Jack was born in August 1936, in Johnson City to Hubert Clinton and Leota (Whittimore) Fox. Jack loved golf, and in his younger years he was a talented golfer, carrying a single-digit handicap for a time and recording multiple holes-in-one. They were instrumental in allowing Jack to live his final years where he wanted and, most importantly, how he wanted. Jack will be deeply missed by his family, friends, coworkers, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
