Miryala Rajani (JAGTIAL): Following weather department warnings predicting heavy to very heavy rainfall across the district on July 29 and 30, Jagtial District Collector B. Satya Prasad on Wednesday urged citizens to remain on high alert and take necessary precautions. In an official statement, the Collector stated that the district administration is fully prepared to handle any emergencies arising from the downpour. To ensure prompt assistance to the public, a 24/7 control room has been established at the District Collectorate. Collector Satya Prasad advised residents to avoid venturing out unless absolutely necessary, with a special appeal to people living in low-lying areas to remain extra cautious. The Collector assured that officials from all concerned departments will respond swiftly to every call and initiate necessary relief measures.
