Emergency services were called to Two Laws Road at around 10.55am on Sunday (August 9) to reports of a crash. Officers said the rider of a Hyundai Ioniq motorcycle travelling towards Lancashire from Yorkshire tried to overtake a Vauxhall van at the same time as a KTM Superduke motorcycle, causing the two to crash. The rider, a man in his 60s, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital. Anyone who witnessed the crash or who has any footage is asked to call us on 101 quoting log 535 of August 9.
