A man who tried to smuggle almost £700,000 of cannabis into Scotland was caught by a sniffer dog.
Humza Ghani, 27, was caught after touching down at Aberdeen International Airport on December 20 2024.
Ghani had been carrying two large combination-locked suitcases – one green in colour, the other gold – with both covered in shrink-wrap.
The Border Force officers also seized from Ghani £540 in cash, boarding passes and his passport.
“The arrests were in relation to the seizure of a significant quantity of drugs, believed to be cannabis.”
