Police carried out the operation on Saturday (August 8) and stopped several vehicles during the day. Officers found six drivers whose vehicles were being used without a valid MOT certificate. A further two vehicles were seized because the drivers failed to provide the required documentation. One motorist was also reported for using a mobile phone while behind the wheel. Lancashire Police said the operation highlighted a range of offences that can put road users at risk and lead to enforcement action.
