Shetland MSP Hannah Mary Goodlad. Shetland’s MSP is welcoming Jim Fairlie, the minister for agriculture, marine and the islands, to Shetland this week following an invitation earlier this summer. With Mr Fairlie’s brief covering inter-island connectivity, Ms Goodlad said that would form a “key part” of her discussions with the minister. “I have already written to Mr Fairlie on these issues, and they will form a key part of our discussions with sector representatives this week. “I’m pleased that the minister is also going to be meeting with some of our local community development projects in Shetland.
