The library says the event will take place alongside the Lawrence Farmers Market in Lawrence Park and will feature several local organizations offering health and safety information and demonstrations. Bronson Hospital will provide a child passenger safety demonstration, while Lawrence Community Care will offer blood pressure and blood sugar screenings. Other participating organizations include the Van Buren Intermediate School District’s Early Childhood Development programs, Southwest Michigan Hearing Services, and Family Bound, which will provide information on foster care and other resources.
