Soldier returns to Harrogate parade square 18 years after starting Army career

Major Kidane 'Danny' Cousland, now Commander of 21 (Gibraltar 1779-83) Air Assault Battery of 32 Regiment Royal Artillery, served as Inspecting Officer at a graduation parade at the Army Foundation College (AFC) Harrogate on 6 August.
Major Cousland said: "It’s touching to see the families, bursting with pride, and young people with their chests out, chins up and full of confidence.
"I remember that same hope, the desire to serve and the realisation that, as one race finishes, the next race begins."
He added: "If I work hard, I will succeed.
He said: "Work hard, be honest, help those around you and have fun.
