Grenade pulled out of the water at the Selkirk Waterfront. Selkirk RCMP are reporting that a grenade was recently discovered at the Selkirk Waterfront by a fisherman. On August 6, 2026, at 3:05pm, RCMP were notified that a possible grenade had been located at the Waterfront in Selkirk. Members of the 17 Wing Explosive Ordnance Disposal Flight analyzed the recovered item and determined it to be a training grenade from the 1950’s. Selkirk RCMP thanked community partners and members of the public for cooperating with the investigation.
