Valsad: A man has been arrested in Gujarat’s Valsad district for allegedly practising allopathic medicine without holding a recognised medical qualification, amid concerns over unqualified medical practitioners operating across the state.
He was allegedly treating patients from a rented house despite not possessing a recognised medical degree or the required registration to practise medicine.
The investigation will determine the extent of the alleged practice and whether other individuals were involved, reports Gujarat Samachar.
In recent months, police have reported several similar cases involving individuals accused of treating patients without recognised medical degrees or valid registration.
