It was later found that Leggett was disqualified from driving at the time. Leggett and his passenger were arrested and conveyed to police custody, where Leggett again refused to provide a blood sample. On the way, his passenger disclosed that Leggett had been the driver, having collected him from the Travelodge. Appearing before the court on Monday, Leggett, of Acton Road, Bramford, admitted driving while disqualified, failing to provide a sample for analysis and driving with no insurance. It was decided that a pre-sentence report was needed, and so Leggett was ordered to return to court on September 10.
