The new national film competition, Dear Future Self, launched by the Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts (PQA), invites entrants to imagine what they would want to remember about themselves 10 years from now. Nick Pilton, head of film and television at PQA, said: "Dear Future Self is all about encouraging young people to reflect on who they are and what is important to them. Winners will see their films screened at the PQA Film Festival. The competition is open to all UK residents aged 18 or under, with entries closing on Monday, August 31.
