Mohammed Subhaan Asif, 25, of Blackburn Road, appeared before Preston Crown Court on Monday, August 10. He was charged with two counts of causing serious injury by careless driving. The charges relate to an incident on May 7, 2025, when the defendant drove his Audi A3 in Blackburn Road and caused serious injuries to Ajmal Rehman. He pleaded guilty to both charges and a sentence date has been set for November 10. He has been granted unconditional bail.
