Jaxson Dart's teammates on the New York Giants, alongside head coach John Harbaugh, were thrilled to see the young quarterback actually slide during practice on Monday. "We've been begging him to do that for a while," edge-rusher Brian Burns told ESPN's Jordan Raanan. The defense loudly cheered for Dart after the slide, Raanan wrote, while Harbaugh literally applauded. Dart, 23, had an impressive rookie season, throwing for 2,272 yards, 15 touchdowns and five interceptions in 14 games while rushing for 487 yards and nine touchdowns. And yet, Monday's slide was Dart's first during training camp over the span of 11 practices.
