The Lulworth Estate has asked Dorset Council to approve the change of use for the former Cove Fish building on Main Road – opening daily from 10am until 6pm and employing one person. The small building, measuring 4×5 metres, with a double-door opening on the front would not be altered for the change in use to take place, according to a planning agent acting for the estate.“ Food preparation would be limited to microwave ovens, panini presses and toasting equipment. There would be no deep fat frying and no extraction flue or external ventilation equipment is proposed. Keep Lulworth with a variety of units,” said his objection, harking back to the days when the area had a wider range of units.
