The 2026 PQA Summer Film Challenge, titled Dear Future Self, is open to anyone aged 18 and under. The challenge asks entrants to create a short film capturing what they would like their future selves, 10 years from now, to remember, reflect on, or carry forward from today. "Film is a powerful storytelling tool, and we can’t wait to see the creativity and imagination that participants bring to the challenge. "We hope the challenge gives children and teenagers something fun, meaningful, and confidence-building to focus on over the summer." Winning and runner-up films will be screened at the PQA Film Festival 2026 in London on November 15 and Sheffield on November 29.
