The properties who lost electricity included the Lidl store in Welham Road, Norton, Asda in Norton Road and Derwent swimming pool in Church Street is also closed. A number of villages were also impacted. A spokesperson from Northern Powergrid said: “A total of 1,483 customers were affected from 9:48am.
