Cause of bedroom fire in early hours of morning 'under investigation'

Firefighters were called to a bedroom fire at a home on Ethersall Road. Crews from Nelson and Burnley attended the scene at 12.10am and used one hose reel and two breathing apparatus to bring the fire under control. A spokesperson said: "At 00:10, three fire engines from Nelson and Burnley attended a fire involving a bedroom in a domestic property on Ethersall Road, Nelson. "Firefighters used one hose reel and two breathing apparatus to bring the fire under control and remained at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation."
