The crash happened on the eastbound carriageway near Rainham, just after the Dagenham turn-off, shortly before 1pm today (August 11). A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called at 12.46pm today to reports of a road traffic collision on the A13 near Rainham, RM13. "We treated three patients at the scene and took them all to a local hospital." A spokesperson for the brigade said: "Firefighters were called to reports of a road traffic collision on the A13 near Rainham. Firefighters rescued one man from a vehicle, who was taken to hospital with two other people.
