Personnel, contractors, civil servants, and their families enjoyed a day of fun and festivities as part of the base’s ongoing 70th anniversary celebrations. The event also gave families the chance to learn about the wider support available to them from service charities and organisations. HMS Sultan, commissioned on June 1, 1956, is now home to the Marine Engineering Training Group and the Royal Naval Air Engineering and Survival Equipment School.
