£10,000 grant helps people in Bournemouth rebuild their lives after homelessness

The funding came from The Roger Raymond Charitable Trust and was awarded to YMCA Bournemouth’s Move-On Project.
It has helped provide residents with one-to-one keyworker support and practical guidance to help them transition towards independent living and long-term stability.
Christopher Wakefield, head of fundraising and partnerships at YMCA Bournemouth, said: "The Roger Raymond Charitable Trust has helped us provide that support.
Thanks to a generous £10,000 grant from The Roger Raymond Charitable Trust, YMCA Bournemouth has been able to help people who have experienced homelessness take important steps towards a more secure and independent future.
YMCA Bournemouth also offers services through its Friday night soup kitchen in Westover Road.
