The golf-athon was held in aid of Heartbeat, a Southampton-based charity that supports patients and families affected by congenital and cardiovascular disease. The fundraising challenge saw 18 holes played across 18 golf courses in just 18 hours by former Saints player James Beattie and former Soccer AM presenter Peter ‘Tubes’ Dale, beginning at 5am and finishing just before 10pm.
