Credit: MultiplexMultiplex has been selected as the main contractor for 99 City Road, a 36-storey commercial tower planned at the intersection of Old Street and the City of London in the UK. Endurance Land, a member of the Nan Fung Group, has made the formal appointment ahead of construction starting in Q3 2026. 99 City Road targets several industry sustainability benchmarks, including BREEAM Outstanding, SmartScore, NABERS 5-star, and WiredScore Platinum certifications, to integrate circular economy and whole-life considerations throughout the project. Multiplex UK managing director Callum Tuckett said: “We’re delighted to be working with Endurance Land once again on the delivery of 99 City Road. Last month, Multiplex was appointed main contractor for Derwent London’s 50 Baker Street development, a 236,000ft² office-led, mixed-use scheme in Marylebone.
