The event, now in its 26th year, will take place on the River Allen on Saturday, August 29, starting at 3pm. Tickets, which will be available for purchase on the day, are priced at £1 each and can also be bought on Thursday, August 27, and Saturday, August 29, outside Waitrose supermarket. They will also be on sale outside the Co-operative Store in Cown Mead on August 22, 27, and 28. The first duck to cross the finish line will win £50, the second will receive £25, and the third £10. The event is organised by the Wimborne in Bloom, and the proceeds will go towards Wimborne in Bloom funds.
