The authority has added three more candidates to the list of Puducherry domicile students eligible to register for the JIPMER Puducherry Internal Domicile Quota through MCC counselling for the 2026-27 academic year. According to the notice, the newly listed candidates are being treated as Puducherry domicile candidates for registration on the MCC website for admission to MBBS seats under the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, internal domicile quota. The development follows the release of the NEET UG merit list by the Puducherry Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Services on July 31, 2026. The addendum is intended to ensure that eligible Puducherry domicile candidates whose names were not reflected earlier can participate in the counselling process for the 2026-27 academic session. Candidates concerned should keep track of the MCC counselling portal and complete registration and subsequent admission formalities within the prescribed timeline.
