Officers were called at 1.16am on Sunday following a report of a woman assaulting another woman in London Road. A 16-year-old girl was dealt with by way of a community resolution. London Road runs through Southampton city centre and is a key route connecting the city centre with the northern suburbs, including Shirley and Bassett. The road is also close to Southampton’s main shopping and entertainment areas, with a number of businesses, nightclubs and bars along the route. This comes after eyewitnesses reported seeing police on London Road during the early hours of Sunday morning.
