Diverse Abilities is offering support for those moving from children’s to adult services. The charity is running a series of advice sessions to ease families through the often complex and stressful process. Lynda Larke of Diverse Abilities said: "It’s great to get families together and help them to get the support they need. Each session offers the chance to meet professionals from the NHS, BCP Council, and other charities. Diverse Abilities supports children and adults with physical and learning disabilities across Dorset, aiming to make these transitions less daunting for families.
