Bertie Ballinger, who has previously stood for Worcester City Council, reported the graffiti both on notice boards near Sabrina Bridge, Worcester, and on the bridge itself on June 14. Responsibility for removal falls to two different councils: Worcester City Council for the notice boards and Worcestershire County Council for the bridge. Mr Ballinger said: "Because of the way it works, the city council were responsible for the notice boards and the county council for the bridge." "The City Council were amazing but they are pretty good at getting things done especially if you report it to them." A spokesperson for Worcestershire County Council said: "We have instructed our contractors to undertake graffiti removal works, however, we are unable to confirm timescales at this stage."
