Historic Cornwall estate to host bat walk this summer

Trevince, a historic country estate in Gwennap, is hosting two events this August that offer a fresh perspective on the natural world, including a guided evening bat walk.
"We warmly welcome people from across Cornwall who are interested in the natural world to join us at these three distinctive events, as well as experience the colours, scents and sounds of our gardens as they change throughout the season."
Visitors will explore the estate's gardens through the eyes of a bat, using detectors to listen to ultrasonic calls and, with luck, catch a glimpse of bats in flight.
The estate’s Cart Shed Café serves homemade food using produce from the walled garden.
The gardens feature a historic walled garden, parkland, and woodland areas planted on former tin and copper mining land.
