Tom English has shared an update on Jota’s Celtic recovery after the Portuguese winger returned to training at Lennoxtown. Jota was pictured back on the Celtic training pitch on Friday, having previously been effectively ruled out of Martin O’Neill’s immediate plans until around Halloween. Telling BBC Sportsound, English said: “I can see Celtic with Kasper Høgh banging them in, and Benjamin Nygren banging them in. Jota, the word on Jota is that he’s ahead of schedule. There is still a fair bit of road ahead before Celtic supporters see him back in the starting XI.
