Police attended house before ‘unexplained’ death of woman in Angus

A review within Police Scotland has been launched after officers visited an address in Angus the same day a woman was found dead.
The woman has not yet been named, and police are treating the death as “unexplained”.
Police attended the address earlier on the same day, however the circumstances of the first visit are unknown.
The force has passed a report to its Professional Standards Department (PSD), which investigates complaints and conduct matters within Police Scotland.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A report on the circumstances has been passed to Professional Standards Department for review.”
