North Yorkshire family visits RNLI stations in tribute to teacher's memory

The Shaw family from Skipton began their journey at Berwick, stopping at Hartlepool and other locations along the Northumberland coast as part of a moving tribute and fundraiser.
Hartlepool RNLI visits officer Jimmy Slaughter with Rebecca Shaw and her children Thomas and Alice and their pet dog Mabel during their visit to Hartlepool RNLI lifeboat station.
"While at the service I learned that Mrs Dryland was a keen supporter or the RNLI and wanted to visit all of the RNLI stations with her husband.
During their stop at Hartlepool RNLI, the family was given a tour of the station by visits officer Jimmy Slaughter.
The family ended the second day of their journey at Bridlington RNLI before returning home to Skipton, with plans to continue the journey along the west coast and into Wales.
