A Saskatoon woman is celebrating an unforgettable adventure that started when wildfire smoke forced her flight to Kelowna to turn around. Patricia Robinson was flying from Saskatoon to Kelowna on Saturday to celebrate her 90th tour around the sun with family when her WestJet flight was turned back to Calgary because of heavy wildfire smoke. As fate would have it, Robinson was seated next to someone who helped make what could have been a nightmare travel experience, an adventure. For Robinson, the unexpected adventure offered a welcome reminder of the kindness of strangers during an otherwise difficult wildfire season.
