In a eulogy, Secretary to the Government Justin Saidi said President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika was deeply saddened by Banda’s death, describing him as a talented professional who made a significant contribution to Malawi’s media industry. The funeral was attended by former Vice President Michael Usi, senior Democratic Progressive Party members including Peter Mukhito, Joseph Mwanamvekha, Roza Mbilizi and Charles Nchancha, opposition party representatives, media managers and religious leaders.
