TANZANIA Electrical, Mechanical and Electronics Services Agency (TEMESA) said 90 per cent of contractors that it has contracted to run its projects are Tanzanian. The agency further assured of quality services in line with the country’s development plans. Mr Kihalala made the announcement when briefing journalists on the implementation of the agency’s 2022/23 budget which has met the target by 90 per cent. He attributed the success in the budget implementation to the use of local contractors and domestic raw materials in their projects especially in the technical and maintenance services, construction and electrical sectors. The agency, he said, owes the customers 44bn/-, mostly government institutions after their vehicles, motorcycles and machines had been repaired.
