Slug & Lettuce in Poole High Street will permanently close after nine years in the town. A spokesperson for Slug & Lettuce, Poole, said: “The hospitality sector continues to face significant challenges. “After careful consideration, and despite our best efforts, the site is no longer commercially viable and we have taken the difficult decision to close Slug & Lettuce, Poole. We would also like to thank our guests and the local community for their support over the years.” The Poole team added: “From bottomless brunches and birthdays to big nights out and countless cocktails thank you to every customer and every team member who has been part of our journey.
