Over 2,700 residents received Emergency Support Services (ESS) support either online or in person at Kal Tire Place in Vernon, due to the Bradley Creek fire.
She noted that extra relief personnel, including Service BC staff to assist with identification, are being deployed to prevent volunteer burnout.
"We have relief staff coming to make sure that people can rest, because this is going to be an extended period of time," Greene said.
