A driver left his car and moved to safety just before a Commuter Rail train crashed into the vehicle early Sunday morning in Cohasset. Around 12:30 a.m., Cohasset Police received multiple reports that an MBTA Commuter Rail train on the Greenbush Line, traveling toward Scituate, had struck a car at the North Main Street grade crossing. The train stopped just before reaching the Cohasset Commuter Rail station. The car became stuck, aso as the train approached, the driver got out and moved away from the tracks.
