As the contract standoff continues between the Detroit Pistons and Jalen Duren, new reports suggest the Eastern Conference team isn't particularly interested in sending the big man out with a sign-and-trade. "I don't think a sign-and-trade is really on the table for Jalen Duren," ESPN's Brian Windhorst reported Thursday on his Brian Windhorst & The Hoop Collective podcast (48-minute mark). The [Sacramento] Kings would have and would remain interested in Jalen Duren in a sign-and-trade scenario." That is notable since Windhorst pointed out "a number of teams" would be interested if the Pistons changed their mind about that approach. Duren is just 22 years old and was an All-Star and All-NBA Third Team selection last season.
