Carnival Cruise Line wrapped up the second summer of its Fun-ternship Program in Jacksonville and Tampa.
On August 3, Jacksonville, 20 high-school students graduated from the program in Jacksonville, paired with 18 in Tampa on August 8.
After receiving a certificate of completion, the students joined the Carnival Cruise Line team onboard for a celebratory lunch, according to a company statement.
The Fun-ternship Program gives high school students hands-on experience in cruise terminal operations at six U.S. homeports.
The cruise line said the program is part of its ongoing investment in the Jacksonville and Tampa communities, aimed at building pathways into the growing cruise and hospitality industry for local youth.
