Feedback Sought On Draft Reserve Management PlanResidents are encouraged to have their say on a new plan that will guide the management of Hamilton’s 59 community and sports parks. Consultation on the city’s Draft Community and Sports Reserves Management Plan is open until 11 October 2026. Under the Reserves Act 1977, councils are required to prepare reserve management plans and consult with the community when they are in draft form. The Draft Community and Sports Reserves Management Plan brings together three existing plans – Sports Park Management Plan (2009), Claudelands Park Management Plan (2007) and Minogue Park Management Plan (2009) – into a single document covering community and sports parks across Hamilton.
