Mehta and Patel organised the plan as a sequence of interconnected spaces that support collaborative discussions and informal exchange without rigid boundaries. "Every part of the studio carries the same material language and emotional quality, yet each supports a different way of working,” she adds. At the heart of this Rajkot studio, a circular skylight draws daylight across textured plaster walls and the sculptural discussion table beneath. Suspended above the discussion table hangs one of the project's most personal elements: a cascading wooden bead chandelier assembled entirely by the design team, every bead threaded by hand.
