Ghanaian forward Inaki Williams finally got off the mark for the season as Athletic Club battled to a vital 2–1 win over RCD Mallorca in LaLiga on Saturday. The 31-year-old ended a nine-game goal drought across all competitions, showing trademark composure from the penalty spot to hand Athletic an early lead at San Mamés. Williams’ pace and movement kept Mallorca’s defence on edge until he was forced off early in the second half with a minor thigh issue.
